Public Notification

The City sent out a Letter of Notice on February 2, 2018 to nearby residents, the Lewis Farms Estates and Secord community leagues, the Westview Village Community Association, and the West Edmonton Communities Council Area Council.

Engagement History

February 20, 2018

Residents were invited to an open house to discuss a proposal for a new Neighbourhood Structure Plan in the Lewis Farms industrial area, located east of Winterburn Road (215 Street NW) and south of Stony Plain Road.

The open house was an opportunity to view the proposed development concept, including the future land uses and roadway network. Citizens provided their comments and feedback, which will be summarized and given to City Council for their consideration before making a decision on the proposal.

Public Hearings for planning applications are being held remotely, and opportunities are being provided to allow the public to submit their comments/concerns either in writing or by registering to speak remotely.

Complete the Request to Speak Form before noon on the day before the Public Hearing or call the Office of the City Clerk at 780-496-8178. Following registration, the remote City Council Statutory Public Hearing procedure will be made available to you.
