About the Proposal

The City has received an application to rezone land at 10906 69 Avenue NW. This rezoning application is to allow for a residential building (Peli Manor) approximately 4 storeys in height, facing 109 Street NW, with underground parking.

Open House

November 7, 2017

Citizens were invited to a public open house at the Parkallen Community Hall about a proposed rezoning on the northwest corner of 109 Street NW and 69 Avenue NW in the Parkallen neighbourhood.

The meeting was an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide feedback to the City and applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council for a final decision on the rezoning.

Applicant had a pre-consultation meeting with the Parkallen Community League.

Applicant had a pre-consultation meeting with the Parkallen Community League.

Applicant had pre-consultation meetings with the Parkallen Community League.

January 6

Pre-application notices were mailed out to 44 affected landowners within 60 metres of the site, and the Parkallen Community League, to ask for feedback on the proposed application.

City Processing

City recirculated application to City departments for technical review.

May 17, 2016 - July 25, 2017 

Application on hold at request of applicant.

2016

March 18 

City circulated application to City departments and utility agencies for technical review.

March 16 

City sent notices to surrounding property owners within 60 metres of the site and the Parkallen Community League.

February 8

City accepted an application to rezone land at 10906 69 Avenue NW.
