Whitemud Road (west of 58 Avenue) is scheduled for rehabilitation beginning in 2018. The City is seeking feedback from adjacent property owners and trail users to understand the scope and potential impacts of the project.
About the Project
In 2016, Whitemud Road underwent utility upgrades. The road now needs rehabilitation, which includes relocating the cul-de-sac within road right-of-way.
Whitemud Road is currently designated as a rural road, with no pedestrian facilities. Other than residents, the road is a popular access point to nearby river valley trails and the Fort Edmonton Footbridge.
