Project Overview

The Terwillegar Towne Pocket Park is a 0.8 hectare pocket park located in southwest Edmonton at 4973 Terwillegar Common. The design for this park is intended to offer a usable and enjoyable green space to the surrounding neighbourhood. There is an existing temporary community garden and the design will allocate permanent space for this garden.

The project team will explore design options with community members. At a minimum, the park redevelopment will include grading, relocation of the community garden, leveling, seeding/ sodding, underground stormwater servicing, tree and shrub planting, park signage installation and base level development for a pocket park as per the City's Urban Parks Management Plan.

This site was identified as the area for the Community League in the Terwillegar Towne Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan
