Construction for the Lewis Farms Facility and Park Project started on August 31, 2023.
The Lewis Farms Facility and Park, located on the southwest side of 92 Avenue and Rosenthal Way, is proceeding with a build-to-budget approach. The project team has adjusted the project scope to focus on community programming needs.
The facility has been designed to accommodate the following amenities:
A base-level district park will be included with supporting infrastructure that allows for development of additional park amenities in the future. A parks maintenance yard will be included in the district park.

Public and stakeholder feedback was gathered on the concept and design, and showed support for the multi-purpose recreation centre. Extensive public engagement was completed from 2015 to 2018. The official name for this facility and park will be formally reviewed and approved by the Edmonton Naming Committee prior to the completion of the project in accordance with the Edmonton Naming Committee Bylaw.
