The City of Edmonton is planning to redevelop Butler Memorial Park, located at 15715 Stony Plain Road. Redevelopment will aim to enhance the park space, contribute to the sense of community and enhance area character.
The project is currently in the planning stages and we want to hear from you! We’re looking to confirm the types of activities you would like to do in the park and the experiences you desire when you visit it. This input will be used to help shape concept plans for the park.
Provide your input via the Online Survey. This survey closes Sunday July 16.
We are looking for feedback from residents, businesses, community organizations and visitors. Input from the survey will inform the development of a concept plan for the park.

Butler Memorial Park is located in the Glenwood Neighbourhood along the Stony Plain Road corridor. The Jasper Place Revitalization Strategy and subsequent Jasper Place Area Redevelopment Plan were approved by Council and recommended enhancements to the park. The improved park space is intended to contribute to continuing revitalization of the Jasper Place area and support the goals of safety, connections and community building.
Through the consultation processes for the area plans, we heard several suggestions for how the park should be enhanced. As part of the park redevelopment project, we are looking to update and confirm priorities for desired activities and elements within the park.
The design will be integrated with current plans for improving the adjacent Jasper Place Transit Centre.
