Downtown Bike Network public engagement history, activities and reports.

City Council approved and funded the installation of a 7.8 km bike network in Edmonton’s downtown after an intensive route selection study undertaken by the City of Edmonton in partnership with Stantec Engineering.

The adaptable Downtown Bike Network is being installed in summer 2017, with an extensive monitoring program that will continue for the next two years.

This project is intended to provide better cycling facilities, but it will also contribute to making downtown a vibrant and attractive destination.
