Fall 2016

  • Finalizing pedway guidelines for property owners within the pedways to guide updating of signage
  • Finalizing design guidelines for on-street and pedway signage
  • Installing interim signage in the downtown, updating pedway pedestal maps, producing new downtown visitor map
  • Developing tender for permanent sign fabrication and installation
  • Developing a Request for Proposal for digital mapping

2016 / 2015

  • Consulted and developed the Edmonton Design Standard for Wayfinding
  • Developed detailed corridor plans for wayfinding signage in primary pedestrian areas
  • Designed interim signs for areas of the downtown core impacted by construction
  • Created the concept plan for signage and mapping of the Pedway Network
  • Held open house May 4, 2016 to share close to final designs

2014

Developed a business case and detailed strategy for a unified corporate wayfinding system, approved to move forward by city council.
