Team up with us to help create Edmonton’s "Missing Middle" Infill Design Competition criteria.

The competition will focus on demonstrating how medium-density "missing middle" housing can be both economically feasible and include good design that works in Edmonton.

We are excited by the opportunity for Spruce Avenue residents to take part in shaping the Missing Middle Design Competition, and thus, informing the final designs for a proposed housing development unique to our community.

Competition Criteria Community Workshop

Spruce Avenue residents were invited to a workshop on October 20, 2018 to help develop the criteria that will be used to judge the 2019 Edmonton “Missing Middle” Infill Design Competition submissions. The workshop was also an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts on local neighbourhood context that should be taken into consideration.

The feedback and input from this workshop will be recorded into a What We Heard report (to be shared at a later date) and further refined into competition criteria by the Community Advisors and “Missing Middle” Infill Design Competition Project Team.
