The City of Edmonton is strongly committed to providing the best services to all Edmontonians, including those with special needs.

We continually identify ways of:

  • Improving the accessibility of City recreation facilities - leisure centres, arenas, parks, golf courses, and attractions.

  • Providing and promoting recreational opportunities for people with special needs.

  • Providing a voice to City Council through the Accessibility Advisory Committee.

  • Hosting events to celebrate the achievements of people of all abilities as well as provide awareness.
