When a Death Has Occurred

When a death occurs, we strive to make your experience with Municipal Cemeteries as smooth of an experience as possible.

For a traditional or cremation service, your first step is to contact the funeral home of your choosing - they will assist in arranging for the funeral services that will honour your loved one.

If you have pre-arrangements with us (pre-purchased interment space and services), the funeral home will contact us to book the interment date in coordination with you. We will confirm and send all the appropriate documents for you to sign directly to your funeral director, minimizing your stress in a difficult time.

If you need to purchase a plot, niche, crypt, or an urn for your loved one, you can contact us directly and you will benefit from our no-pressure environment and can choose from our selection of available inventory to find the perfect resting place for your loved one.

Once interment space and services have been purchased, we will coordinate with your funeral director to book the interment service date and time.

Municipal Cemeteries is also pleased to design and produce markers to commemorate your loved one - including headstones, flat markers, niche covers, and bronze plaques.

Every family can be assured that we will provide clear, detailed fees for any services discussed and/or selected. Pricing discussions are provided with no obligation and in a no-pressure environment.

Take a walk through one of our 7 Municipal Cemeteries without ever leaving home.
