This program links to the human action concepts of Grade 5 Science - Wetlands and includes Weather and Classroom Chemistry. Students are challenged to think about how to change their actions and those of their families to protect the environment by learning about storm water.

Developed as a Teacher's Guide, the program includes four lessons and integrates language arts, social studies, and mathematics combining a variety of activities and materials. The program includes black line masters for readings, a take home activity, Venn diagrams, KWL charts, and games. The program includes a flow chart showing the flow of storm water to the North Saskatchewan River. The flow chart is available in colour, and black and white.
