Did you know, every fall, Edmonton becomes home to 100,000 students. Welcome to your new stomping grounds! Sponsored by the City of Edmonton, this event is designed for you to learn more about your new city and all it has to offer.

Be a part of this fun, action-packed event and experience our rich culture, stunning river valley and exceptional attractions.

Easily accessible on Edmonton Transit: Take the LRT from University or Health Sciences/Jubilee stations to Central station, and walk 2 blocks east on Jasper Avenue. 

Activities include:

Downtown Bike Tours

Love riding your bike? Amazing. These ride-alongs are led by the City of Edmonton's Bike Education Street Team members. These are interactive tours that will include demos of the various features along the new bike routes. There will be some bikes available to use when you sign up, but quantity is limited so bring your own if you have one.

Downtown Art Tour

From modern cubists to contemporary rebels, some of Edmonton’s most diverse and controversial art is found in the heart of the city. Few places are better than Jasper Avenue and 97 Street to explore the layers at the heart of Edmonton. Stroll through the hub of boomtown settlement and uncover a rich mix of histories, cultures and development eras - from Indigenous pre-settlement landscape to modern day cityscape.   Register now.

City Hall Tour

It’s the jewel of the city. Discover Edmonton's City Hall's art and architecture. It was controversial when it was built, but it's now one of our most beloved pyramids (Edmonton loves pyramids). Indulge the civic nerd in you, and sign up for this guided tour.
