The Edmonton Tower Resource Centre serves public and internal customers.
The Resource Centre is located at the Edmonton Service Centre, 2nd floor, 10111 104 Avenue NW.
Library, Information and Resources
The Resource Centre, formerly known as the Planning Library, offers three main public services: library, information, and resources.
The library collection, which focuses on city planning and development, provides a diverse selection of digital and physical publications with information of local interest and general interest including:
- Architecture and building codes
- City planning
- Environmental planning
- Parks planning
- Transportation planning
- Urban design
- And more
Library Resource Guides are available via bit.ly/yeglibraryguides and are
your go-to guides for popular topics in our collection. Topics include:
- Building regulation in Edmonton (Building Codes)
- Land use regulation in Edmonton (Zoning, Development Control, and Land Use Bylaws)
- Government documents and legislation
- And more
Visitors can also review some of the digital library holdings on the Edmonton Tower Resource Centre Issuu Digital Library. Access to the full library catalogue (digital and physical) is available at the centre, or library staff can look up items for you if you email your request.
We are happy to answer questions relating to City services and programs. We also offer a selection of City forms and brochures that are pre-printed or available via printing-on-demand for the public.

We provide public access computers for customers needing internet access in relation to City of Edmonton services and programs, as well as research relating to our library collection.
If you have arrived to complete an application at the Edmonton Service Centre and are missing documentation, we can provide limited printing services to you as well.
The Resource Centre is open 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, and is closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
