There are a number of ways to purchase your Arc card.
Have them delivered directly to your door.
Ticket Vending Machines provide self-service options for purchasing single fare, a return trip, Ticket Strips (10 tickets) or a Family/Day pass.
Sales outlets do not set their own prices for ETS fare products. The price of ETS products are set by City Council in conjunction with ETS. All sales outlets are expected to abide by these set prices. For concerns about retailers selling ETS products at non-standard prices, please collect detailed information and call 311 to report the concern.
Ticket Vending Machines accept coins and bills up to $20 and provide change on a purchase if applicable. Machines do not accept any banking, credit or gift cards.

If you lose money in a Ticket Vending Machine, call 311 to inquire how to be reimbursed. Ticket Vending Machine tickets purchased in error are not refundable.
Any single tickets purchased will be validated for immediate use upon purchase. This includes purchasing multiple ‘single tickets’, which will all be validated for immediate use. This feature is intended for group purchases where the tickets will be used to travel immediately to a football game, concert or other event.
Roundtrip fares will provide you with two tickets. One ticket is validated for immediate use and one is not. The second ticket needs to be validated for use on your return trip.
This allows you to purchase a ticket strip (10 tickets) for use at any time. These tickets will not be validated upon purchase and must be validated before each use.
These passes are validated for the day of purchase. You are unable to purchase an unvalidated Family/Day Pass for future use.
While the signature requirement provides greater security, it may not be convenient for all customers. If you are not at home to provide a signature, a card will be left in your mailbox indicating which post office you can visit to provide a signature and receive your package. The option to waive the delivery signature provides greater convenience, but less security. Choosing this option means that your pass order will be left in your mailbox, and any lost or stolen passes will be your personal responsibility; your purchase will not be refunded by ETS if it goes missing.
Passes for the following month are available on the first Tuesday of the previous month. Only one pass month is available at a time through the online store. (For example: February 2022 passes are available for purchase until Monday January 31, 2022. March 2022 passes become available for purchase on Tuesday February 1, 2022.)
After placing your order, you will receive 2 email confirmations. One is an order receipt with the details of your order, and the other is a purchase receipt confirming that your credit card was charged. If you do not receive these emails, contact us at email@example.com to confirm if your transaction completed successfully.
All transit passes and tickets purchased online are not refundable.
Yes, $2 shipping & handling charge along with the applicable GST ($0.10) per order will be added prior to completion of your order.
No, only regular fare products are accepted on ETS buses and trains; receipts will not be accepted by transit operators or security as valid fare. (Note: boarding without a valid fare could subject you to a fine of $250. Allow at least 5 days to receive your order in the mail.)
