There are significant changes to School Specials starting September 1. The majority of School Special bus routes have been merged into regular ETS routes that serve the same areas.
Plan Your Trip Help
1. Choose School Session
Click on the down arrow on the right of the field to select the school session you like.
2. Choose School Type
Click on the down arrow on the right of the field to select the school type you would like.
(e.g. Junior/Senior High School or Post Secondary School)
3. Choose School
Click on the down arrow on the right of the field to see the schools under the school type you selected. Select the school you would like.
(for example, Ross Sheppard High School)
4. Click on "Get School Service Summary"
School Service Summary Help
The School Services Summary provides specific information about an individual school including the address, phone number, school start and dismissal times.
The routes that service your school are shown in a table. The routes are listed in the far left column.
Each route links to the Route Schedule Search. Click on the route number which will link you to the Route Schedule Search. The route is automatically entered into the route field. You can then choose your date of travel. Click Get Route Schedule to get the schedule for that route.
School Times for Junior/Senior High Schools
The table also shows routes that arrive or depart within 30 minutes of school times. There are 4 columns showing school times. They are Regular School Start, Alternate School Start, Regular School Dismissal and Alternate School Dismissal. The asterisk indicated which routes provide service to your school for that school time.
School Times for Post Secondary Schools
The table also shows routes that arrive or depart within 30 minutes during each time period at one of the nearby bus stops. There are 4 columns showing each time period. They are AM Peak Hours (up to 9am), Midday, PM Peak Hours (3:30 - 6pm) and Evening (after 6pm). The asterisk indicated which routes provide service to your school for that time period.
The far right column of the table provides a link to the route map. Each route also has a link to a map which shows the route that service your school are shown in a table. To see the map for this route, click on the map icon.
Print School Services
A Printable School Service Summary is available in PDF . To print the School Service Summary in a printer-friendly format, click on Print School Services.
Documents identified with are available for download in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and require an Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Acrobat Reader is a free download from Adobe.
Map of Stops Nearby
A map of all the bus stops near your school is available by clicking on the Map of Stops Nearby button. The name and address of the school is identified. The bus stops are identified with their four or five digit number (for example, 5098). The direction is also shown with an arrow.
Bus Stop #
The bus stops near your school are shown in a table. The bus stops are listed in the far left column (for example, 5098). Each bus stop links to the Bus Stop Schedule Search.
Click on a bus stop number which will link you to the Bus Stop Schedule Search. The bus stop is automatically entered into the bus stop field. The Bus Stop Schedule Search allows you to find the scheduled transit service for specific bus stops. By entering the date and time of travel, you will receive the scheduled bus service at that stop for the following hour.
The location of each bus stop near your school are shown in a table. The locations are listed in the middle column (for example, 135 Street & 111 Avenue).
The direction of each bus stop near your school are shown in a table. The direction is listed in the far right column (for example, Eastbound).
