School Special Service

There are significant changes to School Specials starting September 1. The majority of School Special bus routes have been merged into regular ETS routes that serve the same areas. For example, the former School Special Route 840 will now operate as school trips on Route 128S.

ETS will continue to operate  29 School Special routes, using the previous 600 and 800 series route designation, however, the specific route destinations for these route numbers have changed from last year.

Lastly, some School Special routes have been combined into a new routes and some School Special routes have been cancelled due to lower number of customers. Some communities, like Wedgewood and Westridge will no longer have School Special service, however, regular ETS service is available for students to take to school.

To view your new school route please use the School Trip planning tool here. School Special departure times can be found in the route brochures for the full route, marked with the letter ā€œSā€ to the right of the time. For example, departure times for Route 61S are available in the Route 61 brochure.
