On Monday, July 1, buses and LRT will operate on regular Sunday schedules. ETS will provide additional service to the fireworks in downtown and Mill Woods on Routes 1, 5, 8 and 9. 

Buses and LRT operate on regular Sunday schedules. Late Night Owl Service is available until 3 am on Routes 1, 4, 8, 9 and 512. Routes that normally end between 10 pm and midnight on Sunday evenings will be extended past midnight. After the fireworks, extra ETS buses will be staged at Government Transit Centre to assist passengers in getting home safely. 

Routes 9 and 52 will detour during the closure of Walterdale Hill, Queen Elizabeth Park Road and the High Level Bridge. Plan ahead by viewing all upcoming detour details.

  • Extra Capital Line LRT service starts at 6pm, with the last trains leaving Clareview and Century Park at 1:10am
  • Metro Line trains run every 15 minutes from Kingsway/Royal Alex to Health Sciences/Jubilee.

Some passengers may need to transfer to Capital Line trains to reach their destination.

From 10:45 to 11:45pm, LRT service may be delayed on the bridge between Grandin and University due to the fireworks.

The Edmonton Service Centre, including ETS Lost & Found, will be closed.

DATS will operate on a holiday schedule. The DATS Client Services Centre will be closed and subscription bookings cancelled. If you require subscription bookings on Canada Day, please call 780-496-4567 (option 2).
