We are Proud to be ISO 9001:2000 Certified

The Design and Construction Section of Utilities Infrastructure is one of the foremost government organizations in North America to receive the ISO 9001 certification.   In 1997, the ISO (International Organization for Standards) certified Design and Construction with the ISO 9001 certification for their Quality Management System.

The ISO is a non-government organization that recognizes organizations for quality management with product design and complex manufacturing processes.   The ISO certification is a coveted international recognition for quality assurance.

The Quality Management System for Design and Construction strives to maintain superior products and services with commitments to continual improvement, compliance to regulations and customer satisfaction.

Design and Construction has been regularly audited by independent, outside organizations to ensure its Quality Management practices continually support the quality standards approved by ISO.

In 2008, Design and Construction received its 11th consecutive year of ISO Quality Management certification. Design and Construction currently maintains the latest accreditation for ISO known as the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
