Bylaw 17277, adopted by Council on July 6, 2015, amends the Section 14 - Special Information Requirements of the Zoning Bylaw. This section regulates the types of information a City Development Officer can request as part of the development application review process. 

What Changed?

Changes introduced as a result of Bylaw 17277 include:

  • Specifying when a wind or shadow impact study shall be required
  • Permitting a City Development Officer to request drainage information and a lot grading plan earlier in the development review process
  • Clarifying wording in the Floodplain Information clause
