Root for Trees has many opportunities for your organization to support Edmonton's urban forest. Sponsor your corporate team building event or donate funds and materials to support volunteer planting events.

Sponsor events

From sponsoring your own team building event to a full-day community event, Root for Trees will work with you to customize your experience. Opportunities include:








Depending on your agreement, you will be recognized for you contribution on our program website, in publications, on posters and/or signage and at special events. 
Benefits of sponsorship include:

  • Commemorative Trees - commemorate a person, group, or occasion by planting a large tree in a public park or cemetery.  
  •  Donate funds for purchasing tree planting shovels, plant material and care for planted trees (for example, watering costs)
  •  Donate materials and equipment such as new gardening gloves, tree planting shovels, water bottles, appreciation items for volunteers (for example, sunglasses, hats, etc)
