The Advancing Age Friendly Edmonton project is an update to the Age Friendly Edmonton 5 year work plan (2013-2017), with a focus on 4 priority areas: aging in place, ageism, intergenerational and diversity.

The updated work plan will be prepared by the City of Edmonton, in collaboration with the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council. The purpose of the plan will inform the next stage of the Age Friendly Edmonton Initiative, including partnerships, projects and resources to advance the City's goals of improving Edmonton for all ages.

Upgrade Your Mindset provides Age Friendly Edmonton's Respect and Inclusion Workshop in electronic form.

The workshop is designed for anyone who interacts with older adults and wants to make those interactions as positive, respectful and inclusive as possible. It's as relevant for adult children of older parents and front-line service providers, as it is for school-aged children and policy-makers at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
