Construction Notices

The Archives’ vaults are getting environmental system updates over the summer and early fall. This will require vaults to be closed and there will be times where no archival material will be retrieved.

Closure dates will be posted here as soon as they are announced.

The Reference Room and self-service material will continue to be available, including:

  • Aerials
  • Henderson Directories and phonebooks
  • Microfilmed newspapers
  • Nile Valley Library
  • Reference books
  • Photograph cards

Parking Lot

Epcor is working on watermains along 108 Avenue and access to the parking lot will be impacted over the summer and in July in particular.

Every attempt will be made to ensure full road closures only take place when the building is closed, however there may be some unexpected closures during opening hours.

If you are planning to come to the Archives by car,  we recommend contacting the Archives prior to your trip to get the latest construction updates: or 780-496-8711.
