There is no formal dispute or appeal process for the snow/ice clearing invoice. Files will be reviewed on a case by case basis,  please review the criteria and submit the request form.

Acceptable Dispute Examples
  • I have receipts from my own contractor for the snow clearing and require details on the snow clearing
  • I am the property owner and require more information to provide to my tenant on the snow clearing charges
  • I just purchased the property and received an invoice for snow clearing before I had possession
Non-Acceptable Dispute Examples
  • The cost is too high and not reasonable
  • I was out of town and had someone looking after the place who failed to clean my sidewalks
  • Hard packed snow on the sidewalk is safer than cleared to the cement
  • I didn't receive a warning, otherwise I would have cleared the sidewalks
  • I didn't know I was responsible for snow clearing on the side sidewalk, only for in front of my home (corner lot)
