Why ask about Edmonton?
During the Alberta election, the City of Edmonton encourages all parties and all candidates to discuss the important economic, environmental and social matters that will impact our city and the lives of Edmontonians.
Edmonton is a major contributor to Alberta’s economy and quality of life. Our City needs support from the provincial government — especially on large infrastructure projects — to manage growth, prosper and thrive. City-building depends on support from the province.
Provincial elections are an opportunity for Edmontonians to ask about the priorities of all provincial parties and candidates. Edmonton residents can champion their city and ask about the issues important to them and to their city. Edmontonians should know how the provincial parties and candidates plan to keep our city’s momentum going.
The City encourages residents to “ask about Edmonton” during the Alberta 2019 election campaign and raise important issues that matter to our city such as transit, jobs, housing, roads, climate and more.
