How to Apply for Special Ballot
Special ballot applications are accepted until October 18, 2021 at 4:30pm. Please apply for a special ballot through one of the following methods:
You will receive update notifications on the status of your special ballot application through your primary means of contact (phone, email or text) as identified in your application. You will be notified that your application was received and when your special ballot is mailed or ready for pick-up.
Your special ballot will be printed after Nomination Day, and after the official candidate list has been finalized on September 22.
How to Return your Special Ballots
Your special ballot package will include instructions on how to complete and return your special ballots. You can return your package starting September 24 until October 18 at 7pm. Return options vary depending on when you return your package. See below for more details.
Your package will include a return envelope with prepaid postage for mailing from anywhere in Canada within the standard of 4-5 business days. Additional rates apply for international shipping and/or expedited delivery. Voters are responsible for any extra postage required.
