Each year, the City of Edmonton conducts property and Business Improvement Area (BIA) assessments.

The City mails out property assessment notices in early January to all property owners within Edmonton. Property tax bills arrive in May, and property tax payments are due by June 30.

Business Improvement Area assessments help determine a tax amount that goes toward services and programs within designated zones. These taxes are paid only by those businesses within a Business Improvement Area. These assessment notices and tax bills are mailed mid-February, with the taxes due by March 31. 

Assessment notices are mailed in January. Tax notices are mailed in May.
Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) work to support local business interests.
Resources are available if you question the assessed value of your property.
Pay your property and BIA taxes through your bank, in person, by mail or monthly.
