Over the past 35 years, Taste of Edmonton has grown into the largest outdoor food festival in Canada.

Taste of Edmonton is celebrating its 35th Anniversary on the Alberta Legislature grounds.

Celebrating its 35th year, Taste of Edmonton will once again showcase Edmonton's local restaurant and culinary scene. Exemplifying the spirit of summer in Edmonton, this year’s festival will feature more than 80 dishes from around the world to tickle your palate and tease your taste buds. Live entertainment on the main stage.

Getting There


Why not avoid any traffic congestion and take transit instead? Use the ETS Trip Planner or call 311 for route and schedule information. 

Bus Route 4 travelling between Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre and the University Transit Station will increase in frequency on July 6 and 7. 

Road Closures

The following road closures will be in effect from July 13–31:

  • Full closure of 99 Avenue, between 107 Street and 109 Street, starting from the Legislature parkade east entry

  • Full closure of 108 Street, from 99 Avenue to the Impark parking lot entrance

ETS Detours

In the heart of Downtown Edmonton, Capital Plaza is easily accessible by bus and LRT. Grandin/Government Centre LRT Station is located right on site, and a number of bus stops are just steps away from the festival site.

Please note: The bus stops on 99 Avenue, between 108 Street and 109 Street will be detoured from July 13–31.

Parking Restrictions

A number of parking restrictions will be in effect during the festival. Please obey all signage, as tag and tow will be in effect. Festival-goers are encouraged to make use of transit, the High Level S​​treetcar, and bike lanes to access the site!
