Rogers Hometown Hockey
Celebrating Canada’s Game
Now in its third year, Rogers Hometown Hockey – Canada’s largest touring hockey festival – connects fans with their passion for the game through family-friendly events and weekly broadcasts in 24 communities across the country.
The festival is a free, outdoor, hockey-themed weekend that features alumni appearances, games, activities, live local entertainment, and food trucks for the whole family.
The event culminates in an outdoor viewing party of an NHL game broadcast every Sunday on Sportsnet, with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone hosting live on site from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio. The broadcast weaves together local lifestyle and sports stories with a marquee match-up each week.
Rogers Hometown Hockey is a true celebration of Canada’s game from coast to coast.
