Animals and Nature (Ages 3-12)

Say goodbye to boring birthday parties! Come and hang out with some of the coolest bugs and beetles, earn your fairy wings or party with the dinosaurs!

Love the excitement of planning your own party but looking for a place to host it? The City has several facilities that you can book for your celebratory day. Whether it be a traditional indoor shindig or an exciting adventure out in nature, the choice is entirely up to you. We have various options for you to choose from - we promise, you will not be disappointed!

Edmonton Valley Zoo Pinic Site

Spend your birthday with some extra cute, furry friends as you hang out and chill at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Experience this one-of-a-kind adventure in our sheltered picnic site or the Otter Room which boasts an amazing view of real-life otters at play.

Picnic Sites

Celebrate your birthday in one of our many picnic areas located within our parks across the city.

Please note: Many of our picnic areas are available for use on a first-come, first served basis so it is recommended that you make a reservation in advance to guarantee your space.

Footgolf Birthday Parties are hosted on the magnificent grounds of the Rundle Golf Course. This outdoors event provides a fun and active birthday option for older kids, especially those that love soccer!
