Your child can become a junior paleontologist! In this supersaurus- sized week of fun, we’ll go on a scavenger hunt for their very own dinosaur egg, crack it open, and build a dinosaur habitat for the mini- dinosaur inside. We’ll handle real dinosaur fossils, learn what Edmonton was like in the time of the dinosaurs, and play some dino-tastic games. (Early drop off at 8am, late pick up until 5pm).
To register, see Dino Mania.
Nature is full of some of the grossest things that can possibly be imagined. Animal poo, slime, and stinky smells are just a few of the amazing products of nature that your child will discover. We’ll take a trip to the Edmonton Valley Zoo to see what they do with all that poo, get our hands on some slimy worms, and go on a smell scavenger hunt. By the end of the week, your child will be saying “COOL” instead of “GROSS”. (Early drop off at 8am, late pick up until 5pm).
To register, see Nature, That's Gross!
Is your child ready to adventure out into the River Valley? In this survival skill-building camp, we’ll build shelters, try our hand at starting campfires, learn how to track in the snow, and practice snowshoeing (snow conditions permitting). Combined with instruction on orienteering and a whole lot of teamwork, this camp is not one to miss!
To register, see Adventure Out.
Welcome to Frogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In this exciting week we will travel to the Muttart Conservatory for Herbology, learn Care for Magical Creatures at the Edmonton Valley Zoo, and study the science of flight. We await your owl. (Early drop off at 8am, late pick up until 5pm).
