Get an exclusive view of otters playing in the Otter Room during your event or enjoy the amenities of the multipurpose rooms in our Edventure Lodge – perfect for evening events, retreats, parties and more!
The Edmonton Valley Zoo is also available for other times when your group or organization wants full facility use of the zoo.

The Otter Room located just inside the Edventure Lodge offers an amazing view of the Otter Exhibit and plaza.

We have 3 classroom spaces, 2 of which can be expanded into a double classroom to accommodate larger groups.

The Geo Domes located along the Wander are available for rental during the winter months, including during Zoominescence.
They are furnished with outdoor patio seating and a heater.

After hours, your group has access to the entire Zoo facility including the Urban Farm. Your guests will have a chance to “Get Closer” to some of our smaller tractable animals. The per person fee with this special package is even more affordable than purchasing individual adult admission passes. We also offer a variety of add-on Zoo experiences to further enhance your event. Please ask your Facility Representative for more information.
Rental Fee:
Starts at $1,625 for first 125 guests. Fees for additional guests are $13 per person.
Picnics at the Zoo
Book an event during the day and you will have access to the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s tented picnic site. Everyone in your party will also have access to all public exhibits, including the Urban Farm, daily interpretive talks and demonstrations.

Group Admission - a minimum of 10 admissions reserved at least 48 hours in advance, are required to qualify for the discounted admission rates. Payment is made at the time of the group's arrival.
Birthday Parties at the Zoo
You'll have a wild time at the zoo with our themed birthday parties! Meet some of our smaller zoo animals, tour the zoo, have outdoor adventures and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Bar Service
With consent from your Facility Representative and a valid liquor permit, alcohol can be served at your event, provided it is handled by individuals that have Pro-Serve.
SOCAN and Re:Sound Fees
If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay the licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.
