The babydoll sheep is usually easy to handle and not aggressive. They are a small breed of sheep raised primarily for meat and fleece. Domestic sheep milk is also ideal for making cheese like Greek feta and French Roquefort. Unlike some other breeds of sheep, the babydoll sheep grows thick wool on its face.

Fun fact: Adult males are called "rams" and adult females are called "ewes".
