Planning a special event? Hold it in one of the City's public squares: Churchill Square or Centennial Plaza.

Sir Winston Churchill Square

Located in the heart of downtown adjacent to City Hall, Sir Winston Churchill Square is a flexible event venue that serves as a world-class festival site, a community gathering place, and a start line for runs and walks.

Please Note: Throughout 2019, the Square will be impacted by Valley Line LRT construction and the Civic Precinct Surface & City Hall Fountain Rehabilitation but remains open to the public. During these construction updates, a number of larger, multi-day festivals, such as The Works Art and Design Festival, Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, Taste of Edmonton and Cariwest, are being temporarily relocated.

Centennial Plaza

Centennial Plaza is now closed as part of the Stanley A. Milner Library revitalization.
