Three Things for Canada — Edmonton Edition

Imagine if every Canadian did three things for their neighbourhood, their nation, and their world this year.

With Canada celebrating its 150th year of Confederation in 2017, Edmonton Mayor, Don Iveson, has accepted a challenge placed by Calgary Mayor, Naheed Nenshi, to do Three Things for Canada.

Three Things for Canada involves acts of service that you can do to make your community, your city, and your country a better place. Mayor Don Iveson explains more about the initiative and what you can do to take part.

Murals will be created in 150 different communities across the country as part of the national Canada 150 celebrations.

Celebrate Canada’s 150 by taking part in the ParticipACTION 150 Play List.

This diverse and creative group will act as champions for celebration activities throughout 2017.
