Using 'hands-on' activities such as baking and pioneer games, your pre-schooler will be introduced to how things were doine in the past.

Easter with the Walters

Find out how Mrs. Walter might have celebrated Easter in her 1920s home. Together we'll go on an egg hunt and make our own colourful eggs using natural dyes we have in our pantry. We'll make a simple easter craft and cook a pastry to share on our wood burning stove. Adult attendance for this program is required and all children must be registered.

Ice Cream Afternoon

Take a break and cool down by making ice cream the old fashioned way. We'll explore artifacts and what life was like as a pioneer child through playing games and washing Mr Walter's wool socks! Adult attendance for this program is required and all children must be registered.
