Play Rangers (Free Drop-in Program)
Play Rangers focuses on children and family participation, with planned special outdoor recreational activities that can be enjoyed by all. Children 6-12 years old are welcome to attend on their own.
Program leaders are excited to share an adventure with you that will include fun activities, all taking place during fall, winter and spring. Get ready, get set and let's go! Your family does not want to miss out!
Play Rangers will return in fall 2024.
- Learn to find your way (Wayfinding)
- Acquire some basic navigation skills including map reading and compass work
- Learn to build some simple tarp shelters and if there is time, even play some Outdoor games
