The City offers a variety of music courses for adults including; guitar, hand drumming, piano, poetry for a song and ukulele.

Music - Ukulele

The ukulele is considered the easiest stringed instrument to play. It is small, compact and easy to learn. Just four strings and an incredible range of chords, but only a few that you need to learn to get going. Learn how to hold, strum and tune a ukulele. Fun fact Neil Young started playing on ukulele first. Instruments not provided.

If you have ever dreamed of playing guitar, strumming out a song at a campfire jam or kitchen party, but thought it would take too much time to get 'good enough' to have some fun, that it would take 'too much time' out of our already crammed schedules, this course is for you. We will use accelerated learning techniques in every aspect of playing guitar to get you having fun ASAP, (we play songs and make real music right away starting the first class ) and when you are able to have fun on guitar you will have a self-generated source of true recreation that will help you everyday to deal with the stress of a busy life.
