City of Edmonton golf courses offer a variety of golf lessons and programs for youth.

Junior Golf Camp (11-14 years)

A fun introduction to the great game of golf! In addition to basic rules and etiquette, kids will learn to putt, chip and take full swings throughout this fun filled week. Each day will consist of lessons, lunch (bring/purchase your own), and 9 holes of golf at beautiful Victoria Golf Course. Clubs will be provided at no charge for those who require.

The Cyclone - FUNdamentals of Golf

The Cyclone program focuses on the development of fundamental movement skills. Most experts say that children who develop better fundamental movement skills will develop golf skills at a faster rate and peak at a higher level of expertise. This athletic foundation will also enhance the ability of your child in other sports they play. This program runs 75 minutes in length and will feature a maxiumum of 6 students per instructor.

The SMASH Zone - Learn to Play Golf

This program focuses on the progressions from basic fundamental movement skills to fundamental sport skills. The development of fundamental movement skills and fundamental sport skills is called 'physical literacy'. Physical Literacy is the athletic foundation that underpins success in golf or any other sport. Our goal is to achieve PHysical Literacy along with highly developed golf skills by the onset of your child's growth spurt. This program runs 75 minutes in length and will feature a maxiumum of 6 students per instructor.
