We need your help to help select transit options that will provide most value to Edmontonians. This phase of the Transit Strategy Initiative is about understanding trade-offs and making tough choices.

You can fill out the contest entry at the end of the survey to be entered into the prize draw. The survey will be open until June 30, 2016.
Complete Contest Rules
No purchase necessary. The chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received.
Contest begins at 9am Mountain Daylight Time on Monday, April 4, 2016 and closes at 11:59pm Mountain Daylight Time on Thursday June 30, 2016.
Complete the Transit Strategy online survey, and fill out the draw entry and contact information at the end of the survey. Note: A paper copy of the survey and entry form can be requested by calling 311.
- Only one entry per person will be allowed
- Multiple entries will result in disqualification
- Anyone submitting a paper survey and entry form is responsible for the mailing costs
Winners will be selected through random draws for the prizes shown below:
- 1 Apple Watch Sport 42mm, aluminum case - value $520
- 2 Naturally Edmonton Annual Passes (Edmonton Valley Zoo, Muttart Conservatory, John Janzen Nature Centre) - value $239 each
- 1 Fort Edmonton Family Day Pass (2 adults and up to 4 children) - value $95
Contestants who complete the survey online or in paper format will have their names entered into a random draw to win a prize. There will be a random draw for each of the 4 prizes listed above. The winners will be contacted after August 1 via email or phone. The prize winners must answer a skill-testing mathematical question to receive his/her prize. The prize winners will have 14 days from the date they are contacted by the City of Edmonton to claim his/her prize.
To be eligible to win a prize, a contestant must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Currently reside in Edmonton
- Correctly enter the contest
- Required to show valid ID when picking up prize
- Be able to pick up prize in person
- Correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question
- Sign a Consent Form for the disclosure of his/her name and Release
City of Edmonton employees are not eligible to win the prizes.
Each winner is responsible for picking up his/her prize from the Corporate Communications office at:

9am-4pm, M-F
The prize will be forfeited if it is not claimed by the actual winner with proof of identification within 14 days of when the winner was contacted by the City. Another name will then be randomly selected for the forfeited prize, and that person will have a further two weeks to claim it.
This information is being collected by the City under the authority of section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and will be used for the “Transit Strategy Survey” contest purposes.
