Central Business District Survey
Every two years, the City conducts a survey of traffic and transit trips to the downtown core.
This report defines the Central Business District Cordon as the area:

Edmonton Household Travel Survey
The City of Edmonton, in conjunction with Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation, conducted a Household Travel Survey in 2005.
The Household Travel Survey provides the City of Edmonton with data about where, why, when and how people travel to anticipate future demand on our transportation network. The Transportation Master Plan relies on the results of this survey to plan an effective and efficient transportation system.

Commodity Surveys
The 2003 Edmonton Region Commodity Flow Study surveyed businesses about the flow of goods and services throughout the entire Edmonton region.
Commodity Flow Survey Project Report
The 2003 Edmonton Region External Truck/Commodity Survey studied the movement of commercial goods by truck into and out of the Edmonton region.
