Webber Greens Drive

Completion Status

This project is now listed as complete since the majority of the scheduled work has been completed.

In some cases, finishing work is required which could include landscaping or minor construction activities however the impact to motorists and pedestrians is expected to be minimal.

About the Project

Construction is complete on the section of Webber Green’s Drive, from Suder Green’s Drive to 199 Street, to improve access and address the increase in traffic in the area.

Construction Included:

Construction of two westbound lanes including turn bays and medians.
Improved access to the Lewis Estates Community and the addition of a 1.5m pathway.
Associated underground installations, street lighting, traffic signals and landscaping.
Construction of the developer funded access into the future mixed use site (commercial/Multi-Family) on the North side of Webber Green’s drive across from the entrance to the transit centre.

Timeline

Construction began mid-June 2011 and was complete in fall 2012.
