Project History
June 2013 - Construction Update
- On June 1, the eastbound lane of Saskatchewan Drive was opened to traffic and will remain open throughout the construction. The westbound lane is permanently closed and will not be re-opened until the project is complete.
- The re-opening of Saskatchewan Drive in both directions is still expected for early August however it will be weather-dependent.
March 6, 2013 - Public Information Meeting
The meeting gave participants an opportunity to learn more about construction, pedestrian detours and traffic impacts.
The City is planning to construct a retaining wall along Saskatchewan Drive between 101 Street and 90 Avenue in order to stabilize the slope and preserve the integrity of both the road and multi-use pathway in the area.
