99 Street & 101A Avenue/Shoctor Alley
About the Project
The City of Edmonton has completed waterproofing the ventilation shaft located under a large steel grate within the intersection at 99 Street and 101A Avenue/Shoctor Alley.
Construction was completed between April and June 2016. The south side of the intersection was temporarily closed to pedestrians and traffic so that a section of road could be removed to waterproof the vent. The pedestrian crosswalk was temporarily relocated south of the construction area. Access to the adjacent businesses was maintained for both pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
