66 Street Upgrade - 167 Avenue to TUC & TUC to 195 Avenue
About the Project
The City has completed the arterial connector roadways to Anthony Henday Drive at 66 Street by means of realigning and reconstructing 66 Street between 167 Avenue and 195 Avenue. In 2012 the first two lanes, of an ultimate 4 lanes, was completed from 167 Avenue to Anthony Henday Drive, and in 2013, the section from Anthony Henday Drive to 195 Avenue was finished. In addition, a storm water management facility, the Schonsee Wetland, was constructed on the northwest corner of 167 Avenue and 66 Street to manage 66 Street and future neighbourhood storm water drainage.
