The 167 Avenue Widening was funded and managed exclusively by an independent developer, Palisades Ownership Group, and its consultant, Scheffer Andrew Ltd.
When an independent developer begins a residential or commercial project they also develop the roadways to accommodate any traffic impact from the future development. These projects are funded and managed exclusively by the developer. It is the City of Edmonton’s responsibility to ensure the developers are complying with the approved standards and specifications.
