118 Avenue Streetscape
About the Project
Along 118 Avenue, between 78 Street and 82 Street, the City of Edmonton upgraded the streetscape which included the reconstruction of the road, walkways, ramps and pedestrian crossings as well as replacing the streetlights and sidewalks.

Construction Included:
- Installation of new streetlights and decorative pedestrian level lighting.
- Concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and curb ramp replacement.
- Roadway reconstruction including total removal and replacement of the existing roadway.
- Streetscape components including coloured patterned asphalt, paving stone crosswalk channels, new trees including tree grates, landscaping, and poster kiosks.
- Installation of water, gas, and storm utilities.
- Relocation of hydrants, gas lines, and catch basins.
Reconstruction of the roadways was completed once the new walks were installed on both sides of the street. Please note that carry over work will be taking place between 92 Street and 97 Street in coordination with this project.
