About the Project

The reconstruction of the arterial road involves the complete replacement of the roadway, curbs, gutters, streetlights and sidewalks.

In the fall of 2012, Edmontonians provided feedback regarding:

• Potential traffic lane reduction and its impacts on vehicle, pedestrian and cycling traffic
• Aesthetic features and landscaping 
• Draft concepts

Public input will help make informed decisions about the potential to reduce travel lanes in the area and about design elements.

Design is targeted to occur in 2013, with construction planned for 2014.
