Building Great Neighbourhoods - Lansdowne

What's New

Project Update - Spring 2016

Construction is tentatively scheduled to commence mid-July 2016. Please anticipate that the duration of construction in front of your residence may be up to 12 weeks (weather dependent). A construction bulletin with more specifics on the construction schedule will be delivered approximately seven to 10 business days prior to work starting in front of your residence.

The construction consists of removal and replacement of public sidewalk, curb and gutter, streetlight replacement as required and reconstruction and paving of the road.

About the Program

Lansdowne has been chosen for reconstruction in spring 2016.

Neighbourhood reconstruction is a type of neighbourhood renewal that involves road reconstruction and repaving, as well as replacement of streetlights and reconstruction of sidewalks, curb and gutter. Alley renewal is not part of neighbourhood reconstruction.

Property owners will have the opportunity to make choices about what they will pay for during neighbourhood reconstruction via local improvements of sidewalks and decorative streetlights.

For information about what to expect during reconstruction, visit the 2016 Neighbourhood Reconstruction page.
