Hazeldean - Project History
Permanent Closure - 97 Street
Beginning on June 16, 2014, 97 Street from 68 Avenue to the alley north of 68 Avenue will be permanently closed to accommodate a bicycle boulevard. This cycling facility will allow a better north/south cycling connection and deter shortcutting through the neighbourhood.
Meeting Three - February 21, 2013
On Thursday, February 21, 2013, City representatives gave detailed information regarding the design, construction, and local improvement process for the Hazeldean neighbourhood renewal project. Meeting Two - September 26, 2012
The City of Edmonton presented the following designs at the Open House on September 26, which was attended by 130 residents. Residents were provided information on the Neighbourhood Renewal process and were invited to provide comments and feedback.

Meeting One - April 10, 2012
On April 10, 2012 the City of Edmonton met with the Hazeldean Community League to discuss the Building Great Neighbourhoods initiative and how neighbourhood residents can be involved and informed as the City prepares to start reconstruction work in 2013.
